About VolleyGirls & Jacked Sports
VolleyGirls is the largest grassroots volleyball program in Ontario. Since 2006 we have offered programs for over 20,000 girls. Our programs include instruction, house leagues, academies, beach volleyball and our very popular summer camps.
Jacked Sports “It’s all fun and games” A program for adults that started with a bunch of friends that loved volleyball into multiple indoor league nights and a beach volleyball facility which offers leagues and tournaments all summer long. This role will oversee the day-to-day operations of VolleyGirls and Jacked Sports.
The office – budgeting, marketing, staff scheduling, communications, social media, facility scheduling, community partnerships
The court – programing, coaching, coach development, player development, equipment & training aids (indoor & beach)
Your people – athletes, parents, participants, coaches, convenors & admin staff
Your hours – 40 hours a week a mix of days, evenings, and weekends

A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, Recreation or related field or experience equivalent. Open to candidates who have recently completed their degree or with 1-3 year’s experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic understanding of practical financial data & budgeting.
Interest in developing key financial & marketing skills for business management: marketing, operations, pricing, growth strategy, etc.
Ability to quickly learn and navigate basic software systems for uses such as payroll, staff scheduling and ecommerce.
Ability to work independently & a self-starter. You make your own hours based on how you want to deliver business objectives.
Demonstrated knowledge of volleyball / sports programming and equipment.
Knowledge of sports planning and league scheduling
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Demonstrated customer service and public relations skills
Social media knowledge & applications
Understanding of key programs in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel & PowerPoint
