The fall always brings excitement for those girls that want to tryout for an OVA volleyball club. These clubs are the next step if you want to play competitive team volleyball.
What is club volleyball ? Teams practice two to three times a week and play 1 to 2 tournaments a month in Ontario. The season runs September to April. Club costs can be anywhere from $2500 to $6000 annually with some extra costs with travel to the US.
What is the difference between VolleyGirls and OVA Club? Many volleyball players have their first experience with us. Our specialty is first touch and grassroots development with a fun first attitude. We are strictly a regional developmental program for Jr’s ages 7 to 12 and offer inter club house league competition for girls ages 12 to 15. Participants play once a week with a mix of skill development and games. Costs average about $200.00 a season.
So there is something out there for everyone. Below are some of the local clubs we support in the area. We decided not to post their tryouts as many are having to adapt and change their tryout dates based on gym availability during COVID.
